Mike Savino
Mike began his high school coaching career as the Quarterbacks Coach in 2010 at
Hamilton Township High School (Columbus). While there, Mike became the
Offensive Coordinator in 2014 and remained in that position until 2016. Hamilton
Township went to the playoffs all three of those years, averaging just over 40 points
per game, and were Regional Runner Up in 2016. In 2017, Mike became the Head
Football Coach at Hamilton Township, where he headed the program until 2019.
After moving back to his hometown, Mike returned to his alma mater Alter High
School, becoming the Quarterbacks Coach for the 2021 season. Mike was briefly at
Wittenberg University, where he coaching the Tight Ends through spring practices
before electing to coach at Centerville High School as Quarterbacks Coach in 2022.
Mike lives in Centerville with his wife (Sasha) and two children. Mike is working
toward obtaining an alternative teaching licensure with the objective of becoming
an educator in the Centerville Local School District.
