he gymnastics team closed out an undefeated regular season with a 9th place finish at the OHSAA State Championships on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Almost every gymnast on the team earned the opportunity to compete on at least one event during the team competition.

Sophomore Leighton Easter and seniors Abby Latham, Ann Lehmann, and Paige Rose also qualified and competed in the individual competition on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Leighton competed on bars, Abby and Ann competed on floor, and Paige competed on all four events. All four athletes showcased their phenomenal talents and performed well.

A special moment from the weekend was when the 1977 State Champion was recognized for being the first gymnastics team in Ohio high school history to win a State title. The team was from Centerville High School! The current gymnastics team and the State Championship team took a picture together to commemorate the occasion.
