In fairness to all of our incredible officials that work all of the games in all of the sports across the Greater Western Ohio Conference it had been quite a few years since the officials have had a pay raise. All 8 teams in the GWOC voted to raise the rates for all officials at all levels which as you can imagine creates a huge increase in the budget needed to cover the cost of officials.

As a result all 8 schools agreed to an increase in ticket prices. Also, since we are all now pretty much 100% digital it was decided to not offer student or senior citizen rates moving forward, so there is now only one cost for all 6 years and older to enter contests. I was hopeful we could still figure out a way to offer student/senior citizen prices but the consensus was to just offer one price across the board.
