The varsity volleyball team was coming off of a disappointing loss at Mt. Notre Dame Monday night and hosted Beavercreek Tuesday night in the CHS Main Gym. The Lady Elks came out ready to go from the start and won the 1st set 25-17. The Beavers bounced back and took advantage of some Elk errors to take the 2nd set 22-25. From that point on the Lady Elks owned the gym and this match leaving no doubts as to who was the better squad this night. The varsity team won the 3rd set 25-12 and the 4th set 25-7 to win the match 3-1. The win brings the varsity record to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in GWOC play.

The 9th and JV teams both lost to Beavercreek 1-2.

All 3 teams are back in action on Thursday September 1st at Northmont with 9th & JV both playing at 5:30 pm followed by Varsity at 7:00 pm. Tickets can only be purchased online at
