The varsity boys soccer program hosted Mason on Saturday in a much anticipated matchup. Mason has a fantastic program and the play on the pitch did not disappoint. The Elks definitely had many more scoring opportunities than Mason and the Mason Goalie kept the Elks off the board early in the game with 2 great saves.

However, with 38 seconds left in the first half Landon Miller scored on a great shot to put the Elks up 1-0. Mason did have one good scoring opportunity in the 2nd half with a free kick just outside the box but the shot sailed high over the goal. Luke Shrivers and his defense in front of him continue to play at an elite level. The Elks are extremely tough to score on and the offense continues to gain experience and get better. The Varsity is now 5-0 on the season.

The JV team beat Mason 3-0 at home Saturday. Both teams are back in action at Miamisburg with the JVA playing at 5:30 pm and the Varsity playing at 7:15 pm.
