The varsity volleyball team traveled to Lakota East on Tuesday night and ran into a Thunderhawk squad that came out ready to play. The Lady Elks dropped the first two sets 22-25 and 23-25 to go down 0-2 in the best of five match. The only option for the Lady Elks moving forward was to win 3 set in row. The Lady Elks regrouped and did just that winning set three 25-13, set four 25-13 and the final set 15-11 to complete the comeback win! The Lady Elks are now 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the GWOC.
The JV and 9th teams both lost to Lakota East 0-2. All three teams are back in action at home on Thursday vs. Fairmont with the 9th and JV playing at 5:30 pm and Varsity at 7:00 pm.
