The varsity boys soccer program traveled to Beavercreek to take on the Beavers on Tuesday night. The Elks struck quickly as Drew Gaydosh scored with a header off a beautiful corner from Colin Gottron to put the Elks up 1-0. At the 18 minute mark Collin Wickenheiser made a nice dish off to Gottron who scored a goal that put the Elks up 2-0. From there the defense and Luke Shrivers did their thing and shut out the Beavers for a 2-0 win. This was the 6th shutout for Shrivers and our defensive unit!
The varsity is now 8-0 on the season and 3-0 in the GWOC. The JVA team beat Beavercreek 5-1. The teams are back in action on Tuesday September 20th at home vs. Northmont with JVA playing at 5:30 pm and the Varsity at 7:15 pm. It is Staff Appreciation Night!
