The varsity boys gold golf team had to take on a very talented Springboro Boys team on their home turf at Heatherwoode Golf Course on Wednesday in the GWOC Championship. The Elks finished in 2nd place only 8 strokes behind Springboro. The Elks continue to improve at the right time as postseason has started.

Aaron Tobe was 3rd with a 75(+4), Eddie Staudt was 5th with 78(+7), Zach Hartley was 5th with 78(+7), Barrett LeMaster was 11th with 82(+11), Rohan Reddy was 16th with 87(+16) & Jacob Lehmann was 27th with a 92(+21)

1st Team All-GWOC for the Elks were:
Aaron Tobe (12) - 75 (+4)
Eddie Staudt (12) - 78 (+7)
Zach Hartley (11) - 78 (+7)

2nd Team All0GWOC for the Elks were:
Barrett LeMaster (10) - 82 (+11)
Rohan Reddy (9) - 87 (+16)

Elks will compete in the Sectional Tournament at Yankee Trace Monday October 3rd at 8:30 AM. Fans must have a ticket to attend and you can purchase that only online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets
