The varsity volleyball team brought in some state heavy weights to Centerville High School this past weekend in an effort to prepare for the postseason and the Lady Elks came up short in both matches.

Seton from the GGCL came came to Centerville on a rare Friday evening match with the Lady Elks falling 1-3 the Saints 16-25, 12-25, 25-18 and 13-25. Magnificat, the 2021 state champion and current #2 state ranked team came to town Saturday and beat the Lady Elks in straight sets 20-25, 16-25 and 21-25. JV and Freshmen both lost 0-2 to Magnificat.

The varsity is now 13-4 overall.
