The Varsity Lady Elks remain undefeated after tying a talented St. Ursula Academy team Saturday 1-1. Both goals of the game would come off set pieces as the two teams battled back and forth. The Bulldogs scored ten minutes into the game off a corner kick that curved into the top of the net just out of reach of keeper Emma Gramke. While the Bulldogs would have some other chances, Gramke and the Elks defense lead by Charlotte Kunst, Brooklyn Larrymore, and Molly Wiedemann, would keep them from scoring again. The Elks battled hard with Taylor Koch, Sammi Aydelott, Jess Wiedemann, and Audi Rhyner giving the Elks some scoring opportunities, but the Bulldog’s keeper was impenetrable. With less than five minutes left in the match, Savannah Conner took a free kick ten yards out of the box and put a beautiful ball into the corner of the net to tie the game 1-1. The Lady Elks travel to Springboro to face the Panthers on Wednesday, October 5th at 7:15 PM. Tickets are only available online at
