On Wednesday, the Varsity Lady Elks traveled to Wayne High School for a storm-shortened match. The Lady Elks started with aggressive play and scored 5 goals relatively quickly. Goals by Molly Wiedemann (36:11), Sammi Aydelott (34:38), Taylor Koch (34:11), Leona Ciarlariello (19:32), and Mia Robillard (16:25) overwhelmed the Warrior defense. At the conclusion of the first half, the game was terminated due to lightning in the area. Leena Cornwell and the defense achieved the clean sheet for Centerville. This victory lifts the Lady Elks to an overall season record of 11-1-4 and a final GWOC record of 5-0-2. The Lady Elks need Springboro and Miamisburg to tie tonight to share the title with Miamisburg.

The Lady Elks JVA also won their game 9-0 on Wednesday, October 12th against the Wayne Warriors. Goals were scored by Ella Boettcher, Amelia Davis, Bella Abboud, Ella Stevens, Colleen Irwin, Peyton Speakes, Megan Reichard, Annakate Robillard, & Morgan Franklin.

The JVB lady Elks traveled to Springboro to finish out their season on Monday. Springboro was able to get 2 quick goals on the Elks and went into halftime with the lead 0-2. The lady Elks came out in the second half and Madelyn Dailey was able to put one in the net. Springboro answered right back. Unfortunately, the game was called with a little more than 6 minutes left due to weather. The Lady Elks end their season with a 1-4 loss to the Springboro Panthers.

The Varsity and JVA Lady Elks finish their regular season play this Saturday, October 15th at Alumni Stadium against Mount Notre Dame. JVA starts at 5:30 pm and Varsity at 7:15 pm. Go Elks! Tickets are only available online at
