The varsity girls golf team has had an incredible season this year and that incredible season continued on Wednesday at Heatherwoode as the Lady Elks ran away from the field to win the District Title. The Team found itself down at the turn but by hole #15 the Lady Elks had a commanding lead and won the District Title by 15 strokes shooting a 305 team score.

The Lady Elks were led by Morgan Rodgers who placed Runner Up at the SW District Tournament shooting a 72(+1). Brigid Nickell and Sanjana Reddy both shot a 77(+6) and tied for 7th. Alana Miller fired a 79(+8) to finish 15th and Leeann Harker had a 81(+10) to finish 16th. The condition of the course was fantastic and the girls played in very windy conditions so this was a great day for the Lady Elks.

The team will now move onto the OHSAA State Tournament being held at The Ohio State University Gray Course on Friday October 21st and Saturday October 22nd. Tickets for this event will only be available online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets
