The varsity girlss cross country team finished in 2nd place at their OHSAA District Meet Saturday which easily qualified them to Regionals next week at Troy.

Senior Peri Rhoads led the Elks finishing 17th overall with a time of 19:56. Senior Alayna Skidmore was 19th overall with a time of 19:58. Senior Emily Hall was 20th with a time of 20:03. Also running for the Elks were senior Elizabeth Lunne, sophomore Mia Fry, senior Cecilia Alexander and senior Brooke Strobel.

The girls will race at 3:45 pm Saturday and tickets are only available online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Cost is $8 for students and $10 for adults.
