The varsity girls soccer team traveled to Miamisburg on Tuesday Night to take on a very determined Vandalia Butler squad. The Aviators played the Lady Elks to a 0-0 tie at the half. In the second half the Lady Elks were much more aggressive and had quite a few scoring opportunities with a couple of shots hitting the crossbar.

With about 4 minutes to play Savannah Conner served up a great corner kick that Morgan Spitler headed into the back of the net for the only score of the game as the Lady Elks beat Butler 1-0.

The Lady Elks now move on to play the Loveland Tigers Saturday at 7 pm at Princeton HIgh School in the District Championship. Tickets are only available online at Click Here.
