The varsity football team traveled to Northmont High School Friday night to take on the Springfield Wildcats in Regional semifinal action. The Elks dropped their second loss to Springfield this year with the Wildcats speed once again playing a huge role as the Wildcat offense used a short and quick pass game that allowed their athletes to take it from there and the Elks had no answer as Springfield won 42-14 to end the Elks season at 10-3 overall.

The Elks have absolutely nothing to hang their heads about as this group of guys came together and along with their coaches overcame great adversity all year to put together a fantastic year. This group was fun to watch and played the game with great passion.

A huge thank you to our incredible seniors who provided great leadership both on and off the field. Very proud of all of you guys. The table has now been set and our underclassmen have to take the example that was just shown to you and continue to raise the bar and set your goals to make next year better then this year.
