Last night at Beavercreek High School it was a tale of two halves for the Elks. The Elks got off to a slow start ending the first quarter in a 14-14 tie and were even trailing 29-23 at the half. However, the Elks were able to get some things corrected at halftime and came out playing with much more passion and energy in the second half! The Elks quickly erased their deficit and ended the third quarter with a 45-36 lead. The Elks kept the pressure on and were able to end the game winning by a final score of 63-49. Leading scorers for the Elks were Powell with 17, O'Connor with 16 and Kenney with 8.

The Elks will be back in action Sunday at the Elk Elite Showcase against Cleveland Heights. That game will be the finale of 4 games and will take place at 5:15pm in the CHS Main Gym.

In other action, the JV team defeated Beavercreek by a score of 64-10. The Freshman team fell to the Beavers by a score of 59-19.
