The varsity boys basketball team hosted Northmont Tuesday night and jumped out to a 19-7 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back. The Elks built a 36-17 halftime lead and then in the 2nd half continued to pull away and brought home a 73-39 win.

The Elks applied great ball pressure and 10 different players scored for the Elks. Gabe Cupps led the Elks with 14 points, Jonathan Powell had 12 points and Matt Wilkins had 10 points for the Elks. The Elks are now 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the GWOC.

The 9th Black squad beat Northmont 63-27 and the JV team beat Northmont 62-40.

The Varsity team is back in action this Saturday in the Ohio PBP Classic at Nationwide Arena at 8:00 pm against Pickerington Central, a rematch of last season's State Championship game. Tickets for this event are available online at
