The girls varsity basketball team traveled to Springboro to play a huge GWOC game against a very talented Springboro squad. The Lady Elks battled all night and the game was close throughout until Boro pulled away in the 4th quarter by as much as 14 points but the Lady Elks battled back but fell 44-51 to the Panthers. The Lady Elks were led by Anna Grim with 13 points and Kendal George with 12 points. The loss brings the varsity to 6-3 on the year and 4-2 in the GWOC.

The 9th team lost to Boro 20-31 and the JV team fell 31-60. The teams are back in action on Wednesday December 21st at Wayne with the JV team playing at 5:30 PM and the Varsity at 7:00 pm. Tickets are only available online at
