The Varsity girls basketball team faced an undefeated Bradley Central High School out of Tennessee on Friday afternoon in the Finals of the Carolina Classic at Summerville High School in South Carolina. The Lady Elks fought hard and were tied 24-24 at the half but finally ran out of gas playing their 3rd game in 3 days and fell to Bradley 35-54 to finish runner up in the event.

The Lady Elks had an awesome tournament getting 2 huge wins and raising their overall record to 8-5 overall as the team now comes home to begin the 2nd half of their GWOC schedule.
