Kendal was 3 points shy of reaching the 1,000 point milestone at half and she hit 2 free throws and then very rightly so dropped a 3-ball from the top of the key to go over the 1,000 point plateau for her career early in the 4th quarter. The Lady Elks went on to beat the Wildcats 62-35.
Kendal George had 21 points, Anna Grim 15 points and Emily Grim 12 points to lead the Lady Elks who are now 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the GWOC. The JV team beat Springfield 29-18 avenging an earlier loss to the Wildcats.
