The Lady Elks used depth and hard play to overcome a feisty Viking squad. The Lady Elks led 19-18 at the end of the 1st quarter and 32-24 at the half. The 2nd half saw the Lady Elks build a 16 point lead and Miamisburg was able to get within 8 points a few times but the Elks always responded. Senior Kendal George had 21 points to lead the Elks and senior Margo Lambert added 10 points to help the Elks on the offensive end. Anna and Emily Grim each had 9 points and they both had their usual all-around good games.
Great job by the entire team as many players stepped up and had big moments! The JV team beat Miamisburg 39-32. The teams are back in action next Wednesday January 18th at Beavercreek with the 9th playing at 5 pm, JV at 6:15 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm. Tickets will only be available online at
