The varsity girls basketball team traveled to Northmont Saturday and came home with a 55-15 victory. The Lady Elks led 12-7 at the end of the 1st quarter and then outscored the Thunderbolts 43-8 from that point on to cruise to the victory. Senior Kendal George had 21 points including six 3-pointers. Emily Grim added 13 for the Lady Elks who are now 13-5 overall and 8-3 in the GWOC and tied for 2nd place.

The JV team beat Northmont 49-41. The Lady Elks are back in action on Wednesday January 25th at Fairmont with the 9th team playing at 5 pm, JV at 6:15 pm & Varsity at 7:30 pm. Tickets are only available online at
