The varsity boys basketball team continued their dominance over the Wayne Warriors with a 48-43 road win, marking their 7th consecutive victory against the Warriors. With this victory, the Elks finished the GWOC regular season with a perfect 14-0 record in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC), capturing the GWOC title for the 5th straight year.

Leading the charge for the Elks were senior Gabe Cupps and senior Collin O’Connor, who scored 20 and 15 points respectively. Despite facing a tough shooting night and some uncharacteristic turnovers, the Elks were able to pull out the win in a sold-out Wayne Gymnasium.

The JV team also had a successful night, defeating Wayne 64-35 to end their season with a 21-1 record. However, the 9th Black team wasn't as fortunate, losing to Wayne 43-48.

The Centerville Elks varsity team will wrap up their regular season on Sunday, February 12th, against La Lumiere in La Porte, Indiana. The game, which will be held at 2 pm EST (1 pm CST), can be streamed for free on YouTube at
