The Girls Varsity Bowling team finished 2nd on Sunday in a 15-team field at the Blue & Gold Divisional Challenge, showcasing their impressive skills on the lanes.
The team, who qualified for the challenge in 3rd place, had a strong showing throughout the tournament. They defeated both Beavercreek and Wilmington, setting the stage for an intense match against the host team, Fairmont. Despite their best efforts, the girls fell just short, finishing as the runner-up in the tournament.
One standout performer for the team was senior Emma Hatfield, who finished the tournament in 2nd place individually. Her impressive 648 series earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Team, recognizing her exceptional performance.
The Girls Varsity Bowling team has had a successful season so far, and their strong showing at the Blue & Gold Divisional Challenge is just the latest example of their hard work and determination. The girls will close out their regular season at Wayne on Thursday, February 16th, at 4 pm.
