The Girls Varsity Wrestling team made history on Sunday, February 12th, as they won their first ever tournament in program history. The Lady Elks took home the championship title at the Eaton Invitational, an impressive feat considering the level of competition and the hard work that went into preparing for the tournament.

The tournament was filled with many highlights and memorable moments, with each wrestler putting in their best effort and giving it their all. One standout performance came from Ilysa Yadon, who earned her first ever win in the tournament. This was a huge accomplishment for Ilysa and showed just how much she has grown as a wrestler over the years.

Another notable performance came from Lucy Amrine, who finished in 4th place in her weight class. Lucy's hard work and dedication paid off in this tournament, as she put up a strong fight against some tough opponents. Her 4th place finish was a testament to her skill and ability as a wrestler, and she should be proud of her achievements.

This tournament win is just the beginning for the Lady Elks, who have a long season ahead of them. However, this victory serves as validation for all of their hard work and dedication, and shows just what they are capable of. The team's win at the Eaton Invitational will be remembered for years to come as a historic moment in the program's history, and a testament to the strength and talent of these young ladies.

The Lady Elks are back in action on Saturday, February 18th, at 9:30 AM, at the Washington Courthouse Invitational. This tournament will provide another opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and continue to grow as a team.
