Girls Bowling Ends Season Ready For Tourney Action

The Lady Elks Varsity Bowlers closed out their regular season with a convincing win over the Wayne Warriors on Thursday night. The team traveled to Poelking Marion and left with a 2032-1885 victory.

Leading the charge for the Lady Elks were senior Emma Hatfield and sophomore Katie Hatfield, who both posted impressive two-game totals of 388. The girls' performance helped secure the win for the team, which finished the regular season with a record of 11-5.

The Lady Elks were dominant throughout the match, consistently outscoring their opponents and demonstrating their skills on the lanes. The team's victory was a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season.

While the varsity team celebrated their win, the JV squad faced a tough loss to the Wayne Warriors, falling 1496-1081. Despite the defeat, the JV team finished their season with a solid record of 10-4.

The Lady Elks Bowling program has been a consistently strong presence in the Greater Western Ohio Conference, and this year was no different. With their regular season now complete, the team will look to carry their momentum into the upcoming sectional tournament.
