Gymnastics Team Claims First District Title Since 2014, State Bound!

The Elks Gymnastics team has had an incredible season, culminating in their recent victory as the District Champions for the first time since 2014. This is a huge achievement for the team, and they have worked tirelessly to make it happen.

In addition to their team victory, three of the team's members have also qualified as individual competitors in the State Meet. Miriam Coppock, Kaila Weller, and Olivia Tarpey have all earned the right to compete individually on Saturday, March 4th. Coppock qualified on beam, Weller qualified on floor and all around, and Tarpey qualified on vault, bars, floor, and all around. These girls have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, and their individual successes are a testament to their hard work and talent.

The Elks Gymnastics team is made up of a group of talented young women, and it's clear that they have worked hard to achieve their undefeated season. The team's all-district selection of Abby Latham, Grace Bueltel, Miriam Coppock, Olivia Tarpey, and Kaila Weller is a testament to the depth and talent of the team. Each of these girls has contributed significantly to the team's success this season, and they should be proud of their accomplishments.

With the State Meet just around the corner, the Elks Gymnastics team and their individual qualifiers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills once again. The team will compete on Friday March 3rd at 4 pm at Hilliard Darby High School, and the individual qualifiers will compete on Saturday, beginning at 12 noon, also at Hilliard Darby High School.

The Elks Gymnastics team has worked incredibly hard to get to where they are, and it's clear that they have the talent and dedication to continue succeeding in the future.
