The Boys Swim team had a great day at the District Championship Meet at Miami University Saturday. The Elks advanced 4 Individuals in 7 Events and 2 Relay Teams to the State Championship at C.T. Brannin Natatorium in Canton, OH on Friday February 24th and Saturday February 25th. The top 32 individuals qualified for State Meet and top 24 Relay Teams qualified for the State Meet. Congratulations to Carson Bruner on his new school records of 1:02.69 in the para 100 Backstroke. The previous record, 1:05.57, was set by Carson at the 2022 OHSAA Championship Meet last February.

Great job by all of our boys and coaches! Carson will swim at the State Meet in his 2 Para Events Friday Night during the D-II Prelims that begin at 5 pm. All other swimmers will swim in the Prelims on Friday Morning beginning at 9:00 AM hoping to advance to the Finals Saturday night beginning at 3 pm. Tickets are very limited so only family of the qualifiers can attend.
