The Girls Swim team had a great day at the District Championship Meet at Miami University Saturday highlighted by Anna Gearhart breaking a school record in the 100 Fly and Gabi Schopperth setting a new school record in the Para 50 Freestyle and in the Para 100 Backstroke. The Elks advanced 3 Individuals in 6 Events and 2 Relay Teams to the State Championship at C.T. Brannin Natatorium in Canton, OH on Friday February 24th and Saturday February 25th. The top 32 individuals qualified for State Meet and top 24 Relay Teams qualified for the State Meet. Here are the District results and who qualified to State:

Gabi will swim her 2 events at the State Meet on Friday February 24th during the D-II Prelims which begin at 5 pm. All other swimmers will swim in Prelims on Friday beginning at 9 AM for the chance to advance to Finals in Saturday night beginning at 3:00 pm.
