The Centerville High School boys and girls swimming teams have been working hard all season, and their dedication has paid off. The teams recently competed in the OHSAA Swim Meet hosted at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH, and the athletes proved that they are some of the best in the state.

Junior Anna Gearhart was one of the standout performers for the Elks, qualifying third in the 100 Butterfly. Gearhart has been an impressive force in the pool all season, and her hard work and training have paid off with this impressive result. Senior Britton Pianki also qualified for the finals, finishing 16th in the 100 Freestyle.

While Gearhart and Pianki were the only swimmers to advance to the finals, it was still a great day of swimming for the Elks. The competition was fierce, with some of the best swimmers in the state competing for the top spots. The Elks should be proud of their performances, and their hard work has certainly not gone unnoticed.

The finals will begin at 3 pm, and all eyes will be on Gearhart and Pianki as they compete for the top spots. It will be a challenging competition, but the Elks are more than up to the task. They have trained hard and have the skills and determination to succeed.
