The Centerville Lady Elks Softball program started their season with a bang Friday night. Competing at the Friday Night Nights Events at Armco Park in Lebanon, OH, the varsity team played exceptionally well, securing two big wins against Dublin Jerome and Logan Elk.

The first game against Dublin Jerome was an exciting one, with the Lady Elks dominating the field from start to finish. They won the game with a score of 11-1, showcasing their incredible skill and teamwork. Their offense was on fire, and their defense was impenetrable, shutting down their opponents and securing a well-deserved victory.

The Lady Elks then went on to face Logan Elk, and they were just as impressive in this game. The team came together to put on a dominant performance, ultimately winning the game 12-0. Their players were in sync, and their gameplay was efficient, showcasing their abilities to compete at the highest level.

One of the most exciting things about the Lady Elks' opening night was the performance of their young players. Freshmen Chayse Adkins, Riley Bakan, Peyton Kennard, and sophomores Olivia Castle and Chloe Jett all collected their first career Varsity hits, demonstrating that the future of the program is bright.

In addition to the varsity team's success, the JV team also played exceptionally well, securing a resounding 18-5 victory over Springfield. This win was another indication of the strength of the Centerville Lady Elks Softball program, with the JV team showcasing the talent and depth of the program.
