The baseball program at Centerville High School had an outstanding Friday night as the varsity team beat Springfield on the road 5-3. The win was well-deserved, and the team showed great effort, skill, and teamwork throughout the game. The program also got a sweep with the JVA team beating Springfield 12-0 at home and the JVB team beating Valley View's JV team 9-7 on the road.

The varsity team's success was largely due to the impressive performance of their senior players. Max Doepker was phenomenal on the mound, pitching for five innings and only allowing one run. Donnell High also played a crucial role, getting the save and helping to secure the victory for the team. Ryder Bliss was the standout performer for the offense, getting two hits and leading the team to victory.

The JVA team also had a fantastic game, winning 12-0 against Springfield. The team played with great energy and focus, putting on a dominant performance from start to finish. The JVB team also played exceptionally well, beating Valley View's JV team 9-7 on the road. Both teams demonstrated the strength and depth of the program, showcasing the talents of their players and the excellent coaching provided by the staff.

The varsity baseball team will continue their season with a game against Hamilton Badin at home today at 12 noon. The team will look to build on their success from Friday night and continue to play with the same level of intensity and skill.
