The Varsity Baseball team of the Centerville Elks continues to roll, having won a couple of GWOC games so far this week. On Monday night, the Elks beat Miamisburg 6-0 on the road, led by the dominant pitching of senior Brady Zimbric and senior Nic Bruder, who combined for the shutout. The offense was equally impressive, led by senior Max Doepker, who drove in two runs, senior Luke Sutter, who had four hits, senior Nic Bruder, who had two hits, and junior Karson Adkins, who drove in a run.

The following day, the Elks hosted Springfield and beat the Wildcats 24-7. Junior Jaydon Benson was on the mound and earned the win, and the offense was led by numerous players throughout the lineup. The team showed their ability to hit and score runs, and it was a dominant performance from start to finish.

The Elks are now 4-3 overall, 2-0 in the GWOC, and will be hosting Miamisburg tonight at 5 pm. This will be an important game for the team, and they will be looking to continue their winning ways against a tough opponent.

The JVA team has had a mixed week, losing to Miamisburg 1-7 and beating Springfield 14-0. The JVB team, on the other hand, has had two impressive wins, beating Miamisburg 7-4 and Bellbrook (JV) 18-13. The team is showing great depth, with players from all levels stepping up and contributing to the team's success.
