The Varsity Gold Boys tennis team had an impressive showing at the 8-team Schroeder Invitational on Saturday, finishing in third place overall. The team’s success was highlighted by Elliot Galbraith’s first singles championship win and Justin Hardie and Vibho Rola’s first doubles championship win.

Galbraith had a great showing in the first singles bracket. He displayed excellent footwork and shot-making abilities throughout the tournament, earning him the top spot on the podium.

In the first doubles bracket, Hardie and Rola formed a formidable partnership on the court. Their communication and teamwork were evident in their play, as they beat their opponents in each round. The duo’s chemistry was undeniable as they worked seamlessly together, ultimately earning them the first doubles championship title.

The Varsity Gold Boys team’s success at the Schroeder Invitational was not limited to just these two events. The team’s overall performance was impressive, with each player contributing to the team’s third-place finish. The tournament was a great opportunity for the team to showcase their talents and compete against top-notch competition.
