The varsity softball team hosted Beavercreek on Tuesday, and our girls played with all their heart and skill to secure a 3-1 win at home. The game was truly a team effort, and several players stood out for their outstanding performance.

Junior Ardyn Hopf had a great day at the plate, going 2 for 3 and contributing significantly to our offensive game. Senior Ashley Arnold also played well, going 1 for 3 with a huge double that energized our team and put us in a great position. But the real highlight of the game came from freshman Riley Bakan, who showed great poise under pressure and delivered a huge at-bat that scored two runs for us. Riley's performance was a testament to the strength and depth of our team, and we're excited to see what she and the rest of our players will do in future games.

Junior Hayley Arnold, who was fantastic in the circle and secured the win for us with 18 strikeouts.

While our JV team suffered a loss against Northmont with a score of 5-25, we know they will bounce back and continue to develop their skills. We're proud of the hard work they put in, and we're confident they'll come out stronger in their future games.

We're excited to continue our season with a home game on Wednesday against Northmont, where our varsity team will be looking to continue their winning streak. In celebration of Staff Appreciation, we're looking forward to honoring our school's incredible teachers and staff who have been instrumental in supporting our athletes.
