The Centerville Lady Elks softball team had an eventful day on Sunday, April 23rd, as they played a double-header against two tough opponents. Although they were unable to secure a win in either game, the Lady Elks displayed impressive effort and talent on the field.

In the first game, the Lady Elks faced off against Gahanna-Lincoln in a close match-up that ended in a score of 3 to 2. Despite the loss, both teams played an outstanding game, and the Lady Elks had a standout performance from sophomore Olivia Castle, who hit her first career home run. Castle's impressive display of power and skill at the plate was a highlight of the game and a sign of great things to come for the Lady Elks.
