The Centerville Lady Elks softball team had an eventful day on Sunday, April 23rd, as they played a double-header against two tough opponents. Although they were unable to secure a win in either game, the Lady Elks displayed impressive effort and talent on the field.

In the first game, the Lady Elks faced off against Gahanna-Lincoln in a close match-up that ended in a score of 3 to 2. Despite the loss, both teams played an outstanding game, and the Lady Elks had a standout performance from sophomore Olivia Castle, who hit her first career home run. Castle's impressive display of power and skill at the plate was a highlight of the game and a sign of great things to come for the Lady Elks.

In the second game of the double-header, the Lady Elks faced the Lebanon Warriors in another closely contested game. Unfortunately, the Lady Elks fell to the Lebanon Warriors by a score of 6 to 2. However, the game was not without its bright spots, as freshman Chayse Adkins hit her first career home run, showcasing her potential as a rising star for the Lady Elks.

Overall, while the Lady Elks were unable to secure a win in either game of the double-header, they displayed impressive talent and potential on the field. With players like Olivia Castle and Chayse Adkins stepping up and making their mark, the Lady Elks are a team to watch in the future.
