The Varsity baseball team had a tough loss against Fairmont on Wednesday night at Wright State University, with the final score being 2-1 in favor of Fairmont. Despite the loss, there were some impressive performances from the team.

Senior Nic Bruder was a standout player in the game, throwing a complete game 1 hitter and allowing no earned runs. Bruder's performance was exceptional, showcasing his skills as a pitcher and keeping the team in the game until the very end.

On the offensive side, senior Luke Sutter had an outstanding game, leading the team with 2 doubles. Unfortunately, the rest of the team couldn't produce enough runs to secure the win.

With this loss, the Varsity baseball team is now 8-7 overall and 7-3 in the GWOC, which is currently tied for second place. The team will need to continue to work hard and improve their performance in order to move up in the standings.

In addition to the Varsity game, both the JVA and JVB teams also faced Fairmont. The JVA team lost a close game 3-2 to Fairmont in 10 innings. The JVB team, on the other hand, had a strong game and won 18-6 against Fairmont.
