The Centerville Girls Varsity Lacrosse team faced a tough challenge at home against Chaminade Julienne, ultimately falling 15-7. Despite keeping the game relatively close, the Lady Elks were unable to close the gap against a strong opponent.

The game started off with both teams trading goals, with the Lady Elks keeping up with Chaminade Julienne early on. However, Chaminade began to pull away in the second half, ultimately securing a comfortable lead and the victory.

Despite the loss, the Lady Elks can take pride in their effort and the way they competed against a talented opponent. They showed resilience and determination throughout the game, which is a positive sign for the rest of the season. The varsity is now 7-4 overall.

The JV team also faced a tough challenge against Chaminade Julienne, losing 12-7. However, like the varsity team, they fought hard and never gave up.

The Lady Elks will look to bounce back in their next game against Lebanon, with the JV team playing at 2:30 pm and the varsity team following at 4 pm. The game will be played at Lebanon Junior High, and tickets are only available online at
