The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team put up a valiant effort at home on Saturday against St. Charles Prep High School but ultimately fell short by a score of 8-7. The Elks made too many unforced turnovers on the offensive end to secure the victory, but the game was an exciting back-and-forth battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite the loss, Jackson Moroney was outstanding in goal for the Elks, making some incredible saves that kept his team in the game. The offense was led by Eli Harless and JP Mercer, who both played an impressive game and contributed significantly to the team's effort.

While the Elks continue to be competitive, they must shore up the little things to reach their full potential. This game was an example of how small mistakes can add up and ultimately cost a team the victory. However, the team is showing progress and growth with each game, and fans can expect them to continue to improve as the season progresses.

On a positive note, the JV team was able to secure a 13-5 victory over St. Charles, showcasing the depth and talent of the Centerville Lacrosse program. The team's success at the JV level bodes well for the future of the program, as these players will eventually move up to the varsity level and contribute to the team's success.

The Centerville Varsity Boys Lacrosse team is now 5-8 on the year and will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Wednesday, May 3rd at Miamisburg. The JVA team will play at 5:30 pm, followed by the varsity team at 7:15 pm. Fans who wish to attend the game should be aware that tickets are only available online at
