Varsity Baseball Seniors Celebrated As Team Gets Huge Win

Centerville Varsity Baseball celebrated a memorable senior night on Wednesday, with the Elks hosting Wayne and coming away with a resounding 12-2 win in just five innings. The team's seniors were at the forefront of the action, providing both stellar play and exemplary leadership throughout the game.

The Elks' seniors, including Donnell High, Nic Bruder, John Woodard, Ryder Bliss, Alec Davenport, Cole Huxtable, Mark Maruca, Reagan Neal, Max Doepker, Luke Sutter, Jacob Dice, Cohen Chillinsky, and Kyle Kenney, were the driving force behind the team's impressive victory. Their experience and skill were on full display, as they led the team to an early lead and maintained their dominance throughout the game.

The team's record now stands at 10-8 overall and 8-4 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff. The team's junior varsity teams also had successful outings, with JVA beating Wayne 9-1 and JVB defeating Troy 13-2.

The teams are set to be back in action on Thursday, with the varsity team hosting Springboro at 5 pm, JVA traveling to Springboro at 5 pm, and JVB hosting Springboro at Oak Grove Park in a doubleheader at 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The team's fans are sure to be eagerly anticipating the next games, hoping to see more of the same impressive performances from the Elks.
