The Centerville Varsity Boys and Girls Track and Field teams had a fantastic showing at the Rod Russell-Mason T&F Invitational on Friday night. The Boys team placed second overall, while the Girls team finished in a hard-fought third place behind Mason and Gahanna Lincoln.

Leading the way for the Boys team was Sopuluchi Anosike, who won three events, and Cam Gay, who won the discus competition. Anosike put in a great performance in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and long jump events, showing his versatility and athleticism. Gay's impressive throw in the discus was enough to earn him first place, and he showcased his strength and technique in the event.

The Girls team also put in a fantastic effort, with Ann Lehmann winning the pole vault competition and Victoria Kuol finishing as the discus runner-up. Lehmann's skill and determination were on full display to take home the first-place medal in the pole vault. Kuol also had an excellent performance, throwing the discus with power and precision to secure her second-place finish.

Overall, both the Boys and Girls teams had a great showing at the Rod Russell-Mason T&F Invitational. The teams demonstrated their talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport, and their impressive performances were a testament to their coaching and training. The athletes showed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the event, supporting each other and cheering on their teammates.
