Varsity baseball traveled to Fairfield on Tuesday and emerged victorious, with a 3-1 win over Fairfield.

The game was marked by impressive performances from several key players on the Centerville. Junior Jaydon Benson took to the mound and delivered a strong performance, going five innings and allowing just one earned run. He was supported by junior Tim Miller, who came in to pitch in the sixth inning and ultimately secured the save for the team.

But it wasn't just the pitching that carried Centerville to victory. The team's offense was firing on all cylinders, led by sophomore Jackson Clark, who had a remarkable night at the plate. Clark went 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's, setting the stage for Centerville's success. Senior Kyle Kenney also made a significant impact, with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.

With the win, Centerville's varsity team improved their overall record to 12-11. They will be back in action tonight, this time on their home turf, as they take on Tecumseh at 5 pm. It is also Youth Appreciation Night, so fans can expect a great atmosphere and lots of excitement on the field.

The success of the varsity team was mirrored by the JVA and JVB teams, who also had impressive wins over Fairfield. The JVA team beat their opponents 8-3, while the JVB team secured a close 8-7 victory. The JVA team will be hitting the road tonight to take on Tecumseh, while the JVB team will be hosting Butler at Schoolhouse at 5 pm.
