Boys Lacrosse Knocks Off Beavercreek 15-9 On Senior Night

The Centerville Boys Varsity Lacrosse team came out victorious on Wednesday night, beating Beavercreek 15-9 in front of a home crowd. The game was even more special as it was senior night, where the seniors were honored prior to the game.

The Elks came out strong, pulling together and showing great teamwork throughout the game. Contributions were seen across the board, with players stepping up and making important plays when needed. The result was a well-deserved victory against a tough opponent.

The JV team also had a great game, beating Beavercreek 5-4 in a tightly contested match. The victory for the JV team highlights the depth of talent that the Centerville Lacrosse program possesses, boding well for the future of the team.

With this win, the Centerville Boys Varsity Lacrosse team moves to a 9-8 record on the season, finishing 4-1 in the GWOC and earning 2nd place in the conference. The team has worked hard all season, and their efforts have paid off with an impressive record.

The next challenge for the Centerville Boys Varsity Lacrosse team comes in the form of Pickerington Central on Wednesday, May 17th at 6 pm. The game will be played on the road in OHSAA Regional action. Fans will need to purchase their tickets online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets as no tickets will be sold at the gate.
