The Varsity baseball team faced off against a talented Mason Comet squad on Friday night, in a game that promised to be a thrilling match-up between two talented teams. The Elks came out on top, beating Mason 6-4 and further solidifying their reputation as a team to be reckoned with on the diamond.

Sophomore Gavin Kent was the star of the show, pitching a solid game on the mound and earning the win for the Elks. Junior Karson Adkins also came in to provide valuable relief, earning the save and helping to secure the team's victory.

Offensively, the Elks were led by senior Max Doepker, who had a strong showing at the plate, contributing two hits and two RBI. The team's performance was a testament to their depth and skill, with several players stepping up and making crucial contributions throughout the game.

With the win, the Elks improved their overall record to 14-11, and they now have their sights set on their next big challenge - a game against Lakota West at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. This is a significant moment for the team, who will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on a major league field.
