The varsity softball team lost in the District Final to Fairfield at Mason on Thursday night 5-2. The Elks started out hot in the bottom of the 1st with Junior Hayley Arnold and senior Ashley Arnold each hitting solo homeruns to put the Elks up 2-0. That Fairfield Indians tied the game up in the top of the 3rd and then score 3 more in the top of the 5th for the win. Junior Ashley Arnold pitched for the Lady Elks who finish the year at 17-10 overall.
