At Legacy Field at Alumni Stadium on Tuesday night the Varsity Boys soccer team clashed with the Sycamore Aviators in an intense and hard-fought match that ended in a 1-1 tie. Despite a dominant performance in shots on goal by the Elks, it was a goal by Landon Miller that equalized the score with just 25 minutes and 30 seconds left on the clock. The Elks' held off a late surge by the Aviators, including two close calls hitting the crossbar in the final minute.

The JVA team added to the night's success by securing a 2-0 victory against Sycamore.

Looking ahead, the Centerville Elks are gearing up for an exciting set of matches on Saturday, August 26th, as all three teams make the journey to Covington Catholic, KY. The Junior Varsity B (JVB) team will kick off the action at 3:00 pm, followed by the JVA team at 4:30 pm, and the Varsity team at 6:00 pm.
