The varsity boys soccer team traveled to Covington Catholic on Saturday down in Northern Kentucky. The team built a 2-0 halftime lead as Jacob Guarasci scored both goals for the Elks. The second half saw the team explode for 7 goals to bring home a 9-0 win for the Elks. Scoring in the secong half for the Elks were: Xander Terrell, Landon Miller, Jonah Beny, Peter Evans, Chinedu Nwokoro and Maddox Rose who knocked in 2 goals. Luke Shrivers got the shutout as his defense played really well in front of him as well. The win makes the team 2-0-2 on the season. The JVB team beat Covington Catholic 4-0 and the JVA team beat Covington Catholic 2-1.

The teams are back in action on Tuesday August 29th as the JVA and Varsity teams travel to Springfield to take on the Wildcats. JVA will play at 5:30 pm and Varsity will play at 7:15 pm. Tickets are available online at Click Here
