The Elks Varsity Boys Cross Country team delivered an outstanding performance this past Saturday at the Brookville Invite, securing a resounding victory with just 68 points against seventeen competing teams. The event, held at Brookville High School, showcased the team's talent and determination as they surged ahead of their rivals to clinch the top spot.

Mitchell Job set the pace for the team, finishing in a remarkable 8th place with a time of 16:58, a testament to his speed and endurance.

Following closely on Job's heels, Jagger Noel secured the 9th position with a time of 17:07, further bolstering the team's strong showing. Owen Zeiser continued the charge, finishing 14th overall with a time of 17:27, showcasing not only his speed but also his determination.

While individual performances were certainly exceptional, it was the collective effort of the Elks that propelled them to victory. Notably, the team boasted an impressive nine boys within the top 27 overall, demonstrating that their success was not reliant on a single star athlete but rather the strength and unity of the entire squad.

As the team celebrates this impressive win, they also set their sights on future challenges. With their talent, determination, and a strong foundation of teamwork, the Elks are poised to continue their success in the upcoming races and leave their mark on the cross-country season.
