BOYS VARSITY GOLD AND BLACK BOTH COMPETE AT TOURNAMENTS

Boys Varsity Gold And Black Both Compete At Tournaments

The Centerville Boys Varsity Gold Golf Team played at the Alter Invite held at the prestigious Miami Valley Country Club on a sunny Monday. This thrilling tournament brought together a total of twenty-one high school golf teams, each competing for glory on the lush greens. The Centerville Elks stood tall, finishing in an impressive 5th place with a collective score of 310.

Led by a stellar lineup of talented young golfers, the Centerville Elks demonstrated their prowess and dedication on the challenging course. Zach Hartley led the charge with an outstanding score of 72, setting the tone for his teammates to follow suit. Caleb Whitt displayed his remarkable skills with a score of 77, contributing significantly to the team's overall performance.

Rohan Reddy, with his impressive score of 80, demonstrated remarkable consistency and resilience on the course. Barrett LeMaster added to the Elks' success with a score of 81, showcasing the depth of talent within the team. Zach Kester, rounding out the group, shot an 85, proving that every stroke counted towards the team's achievement.

The collective effort of these young golfers not only secured a top-five finish but also exemplified their dedication and teamwork, making their school and community proud.

In addition to the Varsity Gold team's impressive performance, the Varsity Black boys' golf team also displayed their skills and determination on the same day at the Fairmont Invitational held at Beavercreek Golf Club. With a team score of 338, they secured a commendable 4th place finish among strong competition.

One standout performance came from Casey Colton, who shot a remarkable 75 to tie for the individual low score of the tournament. Casey's achievement not only highlighted his individual talent but also contributed significantly to the team's overall success. The Varsity Black team's performance was a testament to their dedication and hard work, making their school proud.
