In a highly anticipated matchup between two Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) rivals, the Centerville Girls Varsity Soccer team traveled to Beavercreek on Wednesday night and returned home with a commanding 4-0 victory. Led by their versatile star player, Savannah Conner, who delivered four exceptional assists throughout the game.

The scoring action began with just ten minutes left in the first half when Conner delivered a pinpoint pass to Taylor Koch, who promptly buried the ball in the back of the net. This early lead was a testament to Centerville's offensive capabilities. As the first half neared its end, Conner struck again, this time finding Amelia Davis with just 1 minute and 40 seconds remaining. Davis coolly slotted the ball past Beavercreek's goalkeeper, doubling Centerville's lead to 2-0 heading into the halftime break.

The Lady Elks weren't satisfied with just a two-goal advantage, as they continued to dominate in the second half. Conner's extraordinary assists were not limited to the first half, as Audi Rhyner and Taylor Koch both capitalized on her fantastic passes, adding two more goals to the scoreboard. This comprehensive display of teamwork and skill resulted in a convincing 4-0 victory for Centerville, leaving no doubt that they are a force to be reckoned with in the GWOC.

With this win, the Lady Elks improved their season record to an impressive 6-2-1 and maintained a perfect 3-0 record within the GWOC. Currently tied with Springboro for first place in the conference, Centerville's aspirations for a conference championship appear well within reach.

While the varsity team secured a resounding victory, the JVA team faced a tougher challenge and fell to Beavercreek with a score of 2-0. Despite the loss, the Lady Elks continue to show promise and determination at all levels of play.

The Lady Elks' next match is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, at their home field, Alumni Stadium, where they will take on the Olentangy Liberty Patriots. The action-packed day includes matches for all levels, with the Junior Varsity B (JVB) team kicking off at 9 AM, followed by the JVA at 11 AM, and the Varsity squad taking the field at 1 PM.
